When it comes to retaining walls, it is important to ensure you are selecting a contractor who is qualified to perform the construction. In almost all Virginia jurisdictions, any retaining wall above two feet in height requires a permit and to be engineered by a respected engineering company. Following this process in a two foot wall and above will determine the overall safety of your finished retaining wall.
